Case Study: Capturing Confidence & Comfort – A Portrait Session with Sunday’s in May Creative

Mediums Used: Digital & Film

Meet Giselle of Sunday’s in May Creative a brand & web designer who thrives in her creative space. For this session, we wanted photos that felt natural, authentic, and truly represented her personality—without the stiffness of a traditional studio session.

Professional portraits can feel staged, but for Giselle’s session, we wanted something different—images that reflected her true self, in her comfort zone, where she creates and thrives. We wanted photos that showcased not just her work, but the energy and confidence that comes from being in her own element.

Rather than taking a posed, studio-style approach, we opted for a session in her personal workspace, where she feels most at home. Natural light flooded in, softening the images and allowing her warmth and joy to shine through. Instead of rigid posing, we focused on capturing her in action—immersed in her work, relaxed, and at ease. The result? Photos that feel genuine, intimate, and empowering.

This session is proof that comfort breeds confidence. By capturing Giselle in her space, we didn’t just take photos—we told her story in the most authentic way possible. If you’re looking for portraits that truly feel like you, let’s create together.
